It was a busy week for our team and our clients, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
On Tuesday we celebrated with our friends from Austin ISD after the 2017 bond passed by more than 70 percent. So many people were involved in bringing this project to life, and we were honored to play a small part in its success.
Our favorite technology company, Waymo, had a big week as well. On Tuesday, Waymo officially announced a fleet of fully self-driving cars in the Phoenix area. And on Wednesday and Thursday, we have the privilege of supporting the fall SPARK Game Jam, a competition sponsored by Waymo that brings together middle and high school students to design and code a video game from scratch. We were happy to be part of this event again – and to jump in the photo booth with the Waymo team!
Even on the weekends, you can find us out and about with our clients. This morning, we stopped by the Donor Appreciation Party hosted by Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin’s at the Austin Zoo. The annual event is an opportunity for MMBA to recognize the life-changing contributions of its milk donors for fragile, at-risk babies. Special guest Lisa Stallard, who is on active duty in the US Air Force, paid tribute to our veterans and talked about her experience as a milk donor.
