Our clients are just as important as the story they’re telling. We identify strategic tables where they should have a seat and position them as leaders of their industries. Through the deep relationships we’ve cultivated with local and national media, we help share those stories with the right audiences to influence outcomes.

Public Involvement

Buie & Co. was founded on the desire to leave Central Texas a better place than how we found it. Our public involvement practice is based on the belief that understanding there is a problem is the first step toward solving it and that stakeholders support what they help create. Our team of experts leverages our relationships in the community and our knowledge of informed consent to work with our clients and their stakeholders. We have seen our proactive approach to public involvement and community engagement facilitate communications, build common ground and bring together diverse stakeholders to mobilize support. It’s about creating open, two-way communication. Whether it’s through one-on-one outreach or community events, we work to engage the public and generate goodwill.

Government Relations

Effecting change within the local political framework happens only with knowing the ins and outs of the government process. Our government relations practice is led by Jed Buie, our president and in-house registered lobbyist. While we focus primarily on the City of Austin, our region continues to grow, which means the scope of our work does too. Oftentimes, our clients bring us into Williamson and Hays counties, and we have developed deep relationships at the county level to navigate issues in the greater Central Texas region.

Creative Services

Our creative service team has grown over time as we saw a consistent need from our clients for compelling design to share their stories. From branding and websites to custom graphics and collateral, building a creative service practice was the natural solution. Today, you can see our work across the region, from Music Lane on South Congress to the Northline in Leander (and if you go a little farther - even in Vail, Colorado!).
